Terms & Conditions for Translation Services & Interpreting Services

Crest Language Services · Updated October 2, 2026

Overview

This website is operated by Crest Language Services. Throughout this site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Crest Language Services. By visiting our website or making a purchase from us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions, which govern your use of the website and our services. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding. These Terms are in effect as of today, and we may update or modify them from time to time. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly to ensure your compliance.

By visiting our website, subscribing to our services, or making a purchase, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Use”), including any additional terms or policies referenced herein or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Use apply to all users of the website, including, without limitation, users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or content contributors.

If you do not agree to all of the terms outlined in this agreement, you should not access or use the website or services.

1. Online Store Terms

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into the transaction, or that an authorized adult or organization is acting on your behalf. Do not use the website or services for unlawful purposes, violate intellectual-property rights, impersonate another person, or transmit malicious code. Access may be suspended for misuse, subject to applicable law.

2. General Conditions

Crest may decline work that is unlawful, outside the agreed scope, or cannot be completed with suitable personnel. Service eligibility and any restrictions remain subject to applicable law. You must have authority to provide the source documents and permit their processing for the requested service. Internet communications cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure; use the designated order portal for document uploads and never email full payment-card details. You may not resell, reproduce or exploit our website materials without permission, except where the law permits.

3. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information

Website information helps you understand Crest language services, but it is not legal, medical, immigration, tax or other professional advice. Your written order or booking confirmation defines the service scope, charges and agreed delivery. Notify us if you notice an error in a quotation or page. We may correct inaccurate information, while respecting confirmed orders and rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

4. Modifications to the Service and Prices

Published prices and service availability may change. A change does not automatically alter an already confirmed order; additional work or revised arrangements require an updated scope or agreement. If Crest cannot provide a confirmed service, contact our team about an appropriate remedy under the Refund Policy and applicable law.

5. Services

Document translation can be ordered online. Telephone, video and onsite interpreting are arranged through the applicable service channel. Describe the language, recipient, subject, deadline and any required credentials before confirmation. The receiving institution determines its own document and interpreter requirements. A certified translation, notarization, apostille and sworn translation are distinct processes; ask about the particular process your recipient requires. Services and ancillary items are refundable under our Refund Policy.

6. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us. We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel orders placed under the same customer account, credit card, and/or shipping address. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for all purchases made through the website. You agree to promptly update your account and information to ensure the transaction can be completed.

7. Optional Tools

We may provide you with access to third-party tools that we do not monitor, control, or influence. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools “as is” and “as available” without any warranties or conditions. We do not assume any liability related to your use of these third-party tools. Use of these tools is entirely at your own risk, and you should familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of the third-party providers.

8. Third-party Links

Certain content or services on our website may include materials from third parties. Third-party links may direct you to external websites not affiliated with us. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party materials or websites. We are not liable for any loss or damage incurred from transactions with third-party websites.

9. User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions

You are responsible for material you submit and must have permission to share it. Private source documents are processed for the requested service and do not become public marketing material merely because they are uploaded. Public reviews or testimonials may be displayed with the applicable permission and attribution; they must reflect actual experiences. Suggestions about our services may be used to improve them. Do not submit unlawful, defamatory, infringing or malicious content.

10. Personal Information

Your submission of personal information through the website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

There may be errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in information regarding service descriptions, pricing, promotions, or availability. We reserve the right to correct these errors and to update or cancel orders as necessary. We undertake no obligation to update any information unless required by law.

12. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website or its content for illegal purposes, to solicit illegal activities, or to violate laws. Prohibited activities include violating intellectual property rights, transmitting harmful code, and collecting personal information without consent. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the website or services for any prohibited use.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

We use professional care in providing the agreed language service, but cannot promise uninterrupted website availability or an outcome controlled by a court, agency, school or other recipient. To the extent permitted by applicable law, indirect or consequential losses arising from a service are excluded, and liability for a service claim is limited to correction, reperformance or the amount paid for the affected service. These provisions do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or override the specific rejection-refund promise in our Refund Policy or your non-waivable consumer rights.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Crest for reasonable third-party claims and costs directly caused by your unlawful use of the service, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. This does not require you to indemnify Crest for its own unlawful conduct or liabilities that cannot be transferred under applicable law.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be severed from the rest of the Terms, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

16. Termination

These Terms will remain in effect until terminated by either party. You may terminate these Terms by discontinuing use of our services. We may terminate these Terms at any time if we suspect non-compliance with any part of these Terms.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Crest Language Services. Any prior agreements are superseded by these Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Tennessee law, without excluding mandatory consumer protections or other non-waivable rights that apply where you reside. Please contact Crest first so we can try to resolve a service concern promptly. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from pursuing a remedy or complaint available under applicable law.

19. Changes to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms and identify the revised date on this page. Changes generally apply prospectively; the terms accepted for a confirmed order continue to govern that order unless a lawful written modification is agreed. Material notices or consent will be provided when required by applicable law.

20. Contact Information

For any questions regarding these Terms of Service, please contact us at support@crestls.com.

Refunds, interpretation and policy priority

Read the separate Refund Policy for cancellation, revisions, agency rejection and interpreting arrangements. Where the refund summary in another page differs from the specific Refund Policy, that policy governs, subject to any written project agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.

Independent professionals and freelance platforms

Crest may engage independent translators, editors, interpreters and other language professionals, including freelancers sourced through Fiverr, Upwork or similar platforms, to fulfill an assignment. Completing the work may require sharing relevant source documents, reference material and necessary project instructions with the assigned professional.

This does not authorize public posting or unrelated use of client documents. Tell Crest before ordering if you require named personnel, an NDA, restrictions on subcontracting, a particular processing country or an approved platform. Any special arrangement must be confirmed before files are shared. Where health information or other regulated data is involved, required safeguards and agreements must be established before the relevant disclosure.

Guaranteed 24-hour document translation delivery is available, with expedited turnaround options and original hardcopies available at checkout.
